With “Eiermann 3”, Richard Lampert introduces a tubular steel table trestle that incorporates the side elements of the Eiermann table frame. Designer Alexander Seifried developed a special folding mechanism for this trestle whose design and functionality provide a new alternative to traditional table frames. The side elements of the “Eiermann 3” trestle are equipped with bars that, similar to a pair of scissors, can be extended when needed. Like the central supports in the Eiermann table frame, the foldable bars in the “Eiermann 3” design can be positioned either centrally or off-centre, with the off-centre design providing more leg space. As a perfect allrounder, “Eiermann 3” can be used for both practical desks in small spaces and for large workstations or meeting tables in offices. Thanks to its simple folding mechanism affording quick and easy storage and transport, the trestle is also ideal for occasional tables.
